The iPad 10.2 inch has seen three recent generations—7th, 8th, and 9th—all of which offer robust features. The 7th Gen was released in September 2019 and features an A10 Fusion chip. The 8th Gen, released in September 2020, upgraded to an A12 Bionic chip and offers an 8.0 MP rear camera with a ƒ/2.4 aperture. The latest 9th Gen, released in September 2021, comes with an A13 Bionic chip and a 12 MP front camera. All models have a 10.2-inch display with a resolution of 2160 × 1620 pixels and are compatible with the first-generation Apple Pencil. The dimensions are fairly consistent across all three generations, measuring around 250.6 mm in height, 174.1 mm in width, and 7.5 mm in depth.
